We are an ideal retreat for outdoor families and friends who prefer a vacation out on the water,
wildlife lovers, and those who simply want to relax: stroll through the village, read a good book
and just take things easy. We have also had success with family reunions, management retreats and team building.
We are located in the village of Gore's Landing, one hour east of Toronto and offer 1, 2, 3 & 5 bedroom
self-catering cottages in an idyllic setting overlooking the islands. Each cottage has its own personality
which is unique. Ours include the quaint 1 and 2 bedroom waters edge cottages, the very open barn like
1920 McGaw boathouse and the 1838 two story John Bennett Ferry House that served patrons of the old ferry
dock still in use today as a public park.
A cottage vacation is an excellent getaway and meets many family budgets with full kitchen facilities
and a lake for unending entertainment. To stay in touch, we have broadband internet access and WIFI, so
bring your laptops or use our computer!
We are located on a sheltered bay with a 40 slip marina directly opposite the Otonabee River and several
large islands. Great fishing for bass, perch, crappie, muskie and pickerel. Fishing boat & pontoon boat
rental, fish cleaning and freezing facilities, safe docking, small beach, and just one hour east of Toronto!
