Southern exposure, private, spring fed, trout lake adjacent to crown land. This area is a naturalist's paradise with forest, a natural extension of the Algonquin Park wilderness. Here you can see beaver, otter, mink, blue heron, loons, deer, flocks of ducks, and bullfrogs sing their songs at night. It's restorative, a chance to get back to the natural environment. A very quiet lake, great for families.

TESTIMONIAL : The Hardwood Lake cottage was excellent for our family of 6. The cottage was clean, very spacious, and loaded with conveniences like dishwasher, washing machine/dryer, 2 bathrooms, t.v with movies (for rainy days) and tonnes of sleeping areas. The shoreline is great for little kids and pets to play in, and the water is deep enough to jump off the dock. Our family thoroughly enjoyed having the boat and kayak for fishing (lots of bass in the lake). Very quiet lake and super private cottage and dock, there are no neighbours at all. It was like being on your own private island. Can't wait to vacation at Hardwood again. Carly H
