Leech Lake a small, pretty, spring fed lake in Muskoka. (There are no leeches, but there is a family of loons.) The lake is great for swimming and fishing. Someone stocks it with rainbow trout and the water quality has been rated as very good so you can eat the fish you catch.

The original cottage is an A frame, with a split log exterior and a small deck at the front, facing the lake. We have just added a new 2 bedroom wing with stunning views of the lake. Each bedroom has sliding glass doors which open onto a 20' x 12' deck. One has a queen brass bed and the other a bunk bed with a 3rd pull out mattress. The new wing also has a two piece bathroom.

Inside the A frame, the main floor consists of a bedroom with a new log-style queen size bed, a bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet, a kitchen which is fully equipped including microwave, and dining and living areas which face the lake. There is a fire place/wood stove in the living area. The furniture includes a double sofa bed. There are 2 TVs, a DVD and VCR for movies (there is no TV reception) and a stereo. The floor is maple. The front of the A frame facing the lake is basically glass, with a sliding glass door opening onto the front deck. The upstairs loft consists of 2 bedrooms with steep-angled walls that can sleep up to 4 kids (no adults).

The cottage has southern and western exposure so there's lots of sun at the waterfront, with beautiful sunsets. The property is very well treed so there is also lots of cool shade and privacy away from the water. Large fixed dock plus a smaller floating dock for diving.

$200 security deposit required.
