OWNER'S DESCRIPTION: Beautiful hand-scribed white pine log home on 25 acres of mature mixed forest with a network of walking trails. Home is tidy and well kept with 5 appliances, airtight wood stove and electric baseboard heating. Other features include a walk-in finished basement with one bedroom, a main level with kitchen/bathroom/living room/summer sunroom and an upper loft with two sleeping areas. There is also a large covered front deck with a nice view and a large, wired garage/workshop.

Includes the use of a Sportspal canoe, two bicycles, a set of clean pillows, bottom sheets and towels at the beginning of the stay and firewood for heating the home. Just bring your sleeping bags. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the normal utensils, pots bowls etc. that should be needed.

The property is located 50 minutes northeast of Bancroft in the Madawaska Valley, near the town of Combermere. It has 200 maple trees that have been used over the years for producing maple syrup. Driving time from central Toronto is approximately 3.5 to 4 hours. Driving time from Ottawa is 2 hours.

For weekly rentals, a $200. deposit must be received before renting.
For nightly rentals, a $100. deposit must be received before renting.
All other utilities included in rates.
