OWNER'S DESCRIPTION: Log cabin situated in the lower Laurentians on a 1 1/2 acres of land in a
quiet setting that is very private and wildlife abounds. The chalet is modest but very cozy, with
two bedrooms, a stone fireplace and features a wrap around balcony nestled in the woods.
In winter there are lots of sports to enjoy - Cross country skiing, snow shoe and downhill skiing -
45 minutes from Morin Heights and dog sledding at Carling Lake. The cross country ski trails are
found nearby in a wooded setting or at the Oasis Golf club.
In the summer enjoy the many Golf Clubs, swimming, kayaking and white water rafting on the Riviere Rouge.
There is also horse back riding at Ranch Robert and long leisurely walks in the woods and hiking.
Lots of activities for young and baby boomer young.
We are about 1 hour and 15 minutes from Montreal and Ottawa. The closest town is Lachute a quaint
town that features Fairs in the summer and lots of activities for children. The chalet is more
suitable for adults, but also ideal for a small family or a quiet get away weekend. Pets are welcomed.
There are many accessible lakes nearby. The owner is also nearby and is very helpful, and owns a
kayak and paddle boat.
