OWNER'S DESCRIPTION: "Fraser Cottage" - comfort, waterfront, sunsets, and natural beauty in a 3 bedroom cottage
on an Algonquin style lot on Kennisis Lake. The property has Western exposure and sunsets are spectacular.
Kennisis is noted for its clean clear waters and offers the best in swimming, canoeing, windsurfing, sailing
and boating. There are boat launching facilities nearby and a full service marina on the lake. Golf is 20 minutes
away if that is your bent. There is also a cute Bunkie with sleeping for two or more.
If your choice is to just relax, enjoy a meal on the deck and just soak in nature and the view of Norah's
Island through the trees. Norah's Island is a beautiful 22 acre nature preserve.
There are endless activities and attractions in the area. The Haliburton Forest and Wildlife Preserve is
minutes away. Their 70,000 acres of forests and small lakes offers many outdoor activities such as hiking,
mountain biking and their famous Wolf Centre and "Walk in the Clouds". Haliburton County has many artisans
and there are many interesting art galleries, museums and such for your exploration.
